What if the answers to life aren't always black and white?

Jill Reed thinks she knows it all, and as the advice columnist for her high school newspaper, she gets to share her wisdom on a weekly basis. She handles questions about everything from dating to choosing the right nail polish, and with the exception of a few bullies, everyone respects her opinion.

But when life throws her some curves she can't handle, she realizes she knows a whole less than she thought she did, and she'll need to ask others for their advice so she can make it through.

This is not the genre I usually listen to, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Teen drama mixed with comedy and learning experiences. I highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this story. Granted, it took me 4 or 5 chapters to get into it, but once Bruce blackmails her, I was hooked. I laughed! There are so many times that she has to do really embarrassing things. I think what I like most about the story was it is a story about finding one's own truth (we make ourselves believe the like sometimes) and seeing your own flaws and overcoming them and having good friends that help you through life. The love story was sweet also. A clean young adult novel with good morals.

It took me a couple of chapters to get into it, but by the end I was really enjoying it. If I could I would give it 4 1/2 stars. I enjoyed witnessing the growth of the main character as she learned from her experiences. Cute book

This is a great coming-of-age story. But I did find the main character a bit challenging to like. She’s a control freak who does learn her lesson and sees her life improve as a result. So that was satisfying!

I really liked a number of other characters in the book, especially Dylan.

Overall, sometimes you have to show how foolish people are in order to create enough of a transformative journey to be satisfying, and this book did accomplish that. So 4 stars!

Fun story, but neurotic main character
