Take the Lead

Gina is a dancer for a reality dance competition. Stone and his family are stars of a survival show. Now they have to be partners on this season’s competition, but Stone doesn’t like being in the spotlight. This was really cute. I enjoyed the back and forth between Gina and Stone. Hopefully we get more about either the show dancers or Stone’s family.

Pretty good

This is a feel good story. The romance is sweet and characters are well developed.

The narrator sounded slightly robotic at times.

I liked it... but didn't love it

While this book started out strong for me, I ultimately became very annoying by our main characters. I liked the simple attraction and the way their dance rehearsals brought them closer together. But I didn't ultimately believe in their chemistry and I did not enjoy the 3rd act break-up.

Heat on the Dance Floor

Another great love story from Alexis Daria. I always love seeing strong, successful Latine women represented in books and Alexis always hits in on the head.
Narration was great. Plenty of fun, tension, spice and humor.
