Amazing story

Narrator was meh but the story was great! Glad I didn’t pass this one up

Taken by the Storm Prince (Haven Academy Book 2) ~~ I read this book on Kindle and also listened to it on Audible, and the second book really expands the Haven Academy world while introducing a completely new set of characters and complications.
This story focuses on Gwen, another powerful student connected to the elemental world, and her complicated relationship with Brontes, the Storm Prince. Right from the beginning, their relationship is intense, especially when circumstances force them into an arranged marriage situation tied to the politics of the elemental kingdoms.
Brontes is very different from Fannar. While the Ice Prince is cold and controlled, Brontes is powerful, stubborn, and unpredictable, which makes the tension between him and Gwen even more explosive. Their relationship is filled with arguments, emotional moments, and undeniable chemistry, making the enemies-to-lovers dynamic even more entertaining.
At the same time, the story begins expanding the larger magical plot surrounding Haven Academy. We learn more about the prophecy, the elemental kingdoms, and the growing dangers threatening their world. It becomes clear that the characters we met in the first book may all be connected to something much larger than they originally believed.
Once again, I enjoyed experiencing the story through both Kindle and Audible. The narrator did a great job capturing the emotions in the story, especially during the heated arguments and the more dramatic scenes between Gwen and Brontes.
By the end of this book, the relationships and alliances between the elemental characters become much more complicated, and it becomes clear that the prophecy and the growing magical conflict are only just beginning.
I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself ~ you won’t regret it.

Horrible Narration

The voice is absolutely wrong, so good story negatively impacted by the robotic narration

Enjoyable

An intriguing, dark and twisted but at the same time sweet and spicy romance. I was captivated the entire time. I enjoyed everything about this story.

Could use a rewrite

The storyline left me wanting for more. It gave a very "Young Author" feeling. the epic antagonistic/protagonist battle was completed in a flash. Needs more describing words instead of she's cold, he's a monster, stormy eyes and his rippling muscles. In chapter 3, his eyes change colors three times! - grey to light blue to navy. Would be nice to at least have a male AI voice for his parts.
