Loved it

Love the narrators and the story line. The characters have good chemistry. Can’t wait to read the next one.

Enjoyable

I'm glad that the author didn't have the characters be stupid and keep information that that needed to tell long. I'm definitely going to listen to the next book.

not a bad story...

but that Louisiana accent. Yes, they have a touch more accent than others do, but this was a little over the top. It was more bayou Louisiana than Baton Rouge. Other than that it was a pretty good story.

I struggled to keep my interest

The spice on this book is a .5 out of 10 which was so disappointing. There's building suspense, and then there's dragging it out so long the reader loses interest. I was pressing fast forward and increasing the reading speed because it started to feel sooooo repetitive. he wants her but won't make a move. she doesn't trust him. sexual tension but it never gets resolved. and the cliffhanger was completely predictable.
