This is one great book. I love mafia stories. It could of made a good story for a part two.

I normally don't leave reviews, but with the short summary description, I thought I should share. The summary description pretty much accurately depicted the book. However, it failed to mention the girl was 18 and in college. The bodyguard was 25. The book basically followed the thoughts of an 18 year old virgin and 25 year old bodyguard living together and lusting after each other for about 7 and a half hours. They finally gave into temptation and there was about an hour of them living in sexual bliss. Then for about the last hour, there was a twist. Then the HEA. I feel like it was drawn out. It felt like it took forever to get through and I normally finish books in one day. This book took about 4 days to finish. Although, that could be because I just wasn't into it after realizing what it was about. I kept hoping something would pick up or garner some sort of interest, sadly, it didn't.

Good book

This was a great book. I enjoyed listening to Thom’s reading. His voice is soothing. He has a relaxing voice that can ease you.

AMAZING

Out of all the free audio books I've come across this one HAS TO BE MY FAVORITE! It was beautifully written and the plot was insane. I finished it in 3-4 days cause I just had to know what was gonna happen next. Yes its your normal girl/bodyguard romance with loads of spice, but I was so different. The plot had so many twists and turns and I wish there was a book about Zeke before he found MIa. BUT I loved this one overall. Thank you to the author for creating one of the best Mafia Romances I have read yet AND huge shout out to Heather and Tor for bringing these characters to life

ML Was A Bad Guy, Sex & Possessiveness Didn’t Change That

Zeke was a killer who murdered for the mob boss Dad on demand. Of course the FL (Mira) was a younger, college girl and the cliche virgin who had No Clue that her father was involved in organized crime to fund his lavish lifestyle. Seriously? She didn’t question his profession or the source of his wealth at all? If she had always lived in the lap of luxury, then one might forgive her lack of inquisitiveness. However before her Mom passed, they were living hand to mouth.
The fact that Zeke and Mira were thrown together alone in an apartment and Zeke’s life depended on him keeping her safe, would not be the idea of a careful and calculating Mafia Daddy. Inevitably Zeke started thinking with his dick just as one would expect in this setup. This was far fetched because her dad would have sent an entourage, not a single man in her age group.
Narrators were great, though making it tolerable.
The fact that Mira embraced the family business was a surprise to me. Why would anyone choose to go
