A Series of Unfortunate (and humorous) events!

I planned to listen to the first 10-15 minutes whilst tidying the house but couldn’t turn it off! A series of very funny and unfortunate stories that had me gripped! Good fun!

There are unserious ways to go through life. Would that lead to unconventional situations? You bet.

Here are some slices of actual life, so don't expect a punchline at the end of every story.. but rather weird moments with a smiley feeling.

Meandering multi-country & multi-cultural mishaps

There's something refreshing when a person opens up and shared some of their personal life with you. There's something extraordinary when an author shares some of their personal disasters with the world. David Conte regales us with a number of public and private, personal and public missteps that he has encountered or orchestrated. Each one offers a chance to reflect on our own similar experiences, and to consider whether we would have handled the situation in a comparable way. I found the narration wanting for a bit of loudness stabilization, but Ed Fairbanks was successful in portraying David's chaotic and humorous outcomes. Great Story Telling

David Conte is a fantastic story teller.. right up there with Bill Bryson and Bill Heavey in my opinion. I found most of these stories hilarious and relatable
