Sophia is determined to find a wealthy husband when her father suddenly dies, leaving her in poverty with a bankrupt estate.

Furious, when at the reading of his will, she is to become a bride. A marriage contract has been signed. She is to marry none other than Captain Charles Rutley. The man she has been avoiding these past few years.

Any other but him…she cries.

Come along as Sophia and Charles match wills in this tale. A sweet romantic Marriage of Convenience.

You’ll fall in love with this last book in the Brides of Somerset Series. A heartwarming, satisfying sweet Regency historical romance!

Each book in the series can be read as a stand-alone but will be a richer experience read in order. Always a clean, sweet happy ending, without losing the heat of romance!

This is a sweet romance with indignities just right to keep one waiting - either for defeat or sweet surrender. Karen Lynne has a great talent. More great books, please.Kindle Customer

There are some books that you just don't want to put down and this story just grabbed me from the first pages. I also love seeing the characters again from past stories in this series. Nanc, Kindle Customer

I do not like Charles. He is devious, controlling, and misogynistic . If Charles loved Sophia, he would have treated her better and more as a partner than a doll. He made me so angry. The author uses the daughter or son being pliable/dutiful as a crutch in all her books. She needs to make her characters more realistic with more emotion. I can’t stand it when men step all over woman and then they forgive them.
