With the promise of being paid enough money to pay off my debt to Big Sir, I took the job that Joe was offering. Being a fake ol' lady couldn't be that hard, could it? Little did I realize that over time, he would begin to mean more to me than just a boss and my savior from Big Sir. When we touch, it's like fireworks are being lit up inside of me. He's so hot and powerful that I cling to him in so many ways. I thought maybe we could make it out of the "fake ol' lady" title to me being a real one.

After I cracked the job and found out that one of his own is trying to take him down, I began to fear that he would be done with me. I've opened so much of myself to him. I gave him my body and heart and I hope he doesn't ruin them while he fights to keep his club together and the police out of his business. When everything is said and done, am I going to be more to him than just a bed warmer?

Hot new series!!

This is my first book by this author and it’s awesome. This book is well written and narrated. The story is full of twists and turns. This book will have you on the edge of sit wondering what going to happen next! This is an amazing MC Bad Boy Romance.
The narrator (Rodney Falcon) has an excellent Bad Boy Sexy as hell biker voice. A definite must listen. I definitely recommend this book!!!

Biker problems....but full of potential

Full disclosure, first time with narrator and this author. Story line has potential but is a bit cliche in language choice and story. I enjoyed it but was also very aware that it could be even better. Narration was good, need some attention to doing the female voice but I did enjoy the style and cadence and will listen to this narrator again!

This is my first book written by Eden Rose and it will not be my last. She created an interesting storylines and characters that are complex and well developed. I liked the two lead characters, Joe “The Bear” Montague and Chantal Phillips and the chemistry between them. Joe is the President of Lucifer’s Lair MC, he has suspicions that one of the members is betraying him and the club. Not knowing who to trust he brings in an outsider, Chantal, to help him investigate. In order to get her in the club she needs pretend to be his woman. There is some great plotting here, I really enjoyed how it all played out, the dynamics of the club, the drama, the twists and the suspense of wondering what was really going on. And the romance is smoking hot. Thank you Eden Rose for this great story. I hope to see more of your work on Audible soon.

I listened to the Audible edition, narrated but the talented Rodney Falcon. He put a lot of heart in his performance, he brings the story and the characters to life, gives them their voices, personality and attitude. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen🎧

more than meets the eye

A job turns into so much more! Danger, secrets, and betrayals brings them together and serms to seal their fates. Bear was so protective and had a soft heart when it counted. Loved it. Looking forward to Slice's story. The narrator was super secy and truly added to my enjoyment of this story.

I loved Rodney Falcon’s voice

This was my first Rodney Falcon voice and I freaking loved it!!! I know he has many audiobooks out and I wanted to be sure my first time listening to him was perfect and it was! I can’t wait to listen to more from him! As for the story I also loved it! It was the perfect part of angst that I love! I can’t wait to listen to more.
