To the point without the fluff

Too many tarot books (and how-to books in general) are padded by the author (and the editor) to fill an obligatory number of pages for value-for-money. This self-published book gets right to the point. No need to skip past personal stories or ramblings—it's "just the facts, ma'am" here. And as an intermediate reader I found the card meanings to be very much aligned with my own years of experience, but I draw from every source I can find, from world-renowned readers to podcasts to vanity press offerings such as this. I know nothing about this author or his background, but the material provides basics to get anyone started with the tarot. My only criticism is the virtual voice nonsense. That's going to be the downfall of the audiobook industry, even if it's used for vanity press. I'd opt for the printed book for this title, especially to get the most out of the content.

No More Virtual Voice

I am not a big audiobook person, but I'm trying. I have learned with this book that I do not like the Virtual Voice. The inflection is off putting. Often I felt the "reader" was fussing at me. Other times I was laughing at it. The story I guess was ok. Nothing I haven't read/heard before and I am new to tarot. I believe my 3 stars are generous.
