Does April May have a new career as a ghost detective? A couple of vaudeville-era ghosts have invaded April’s tearoom insisting that she travel to Lavender Falls to find a missing man. The catch? They don’t even know the man’s name.

But April could use a vacation, and the charming tourist town of Lavender Falls sounds like the perfect place for a getaway. As long as she’s there, she can check on any missing person cases.

April soon learns Lavender Falls is not quite what it seems. not by a long shot! Will she uncover what’s really going on before someone else goes missing?

I feel as though the author is trying to stretch the original plot too thin. Whereas having a haunted tearoom and discussions with a lovely French chef are vaguely believable, the idea of visiting a transforming world where fae are involved kind of ruined the story for me. This is becoming more fantasy than mystery in this book. It was okay, but I feel like we've lost the point.

A little too far fetched
