We are living in the information age. What people miss though, is that it’s not the information that is valuable.

What we, as parents and teachers, need to focus on is discovering. Teach shows you how to help your students become independently responsible learners. Once our students know how they can be independently responsible in how they learn, the whole world is available to them. Literally. They become self-directed. They become inspired. They discover what is most important to them!

Each chapter will surprise you! You will be taught concepts where the student becomes the teacher, different approaches to grading work, how to best present yourself, learning to think independently, and how to relate your schoolwork to doing what you love to do.

Parents and teachers will discover how to empower, encourage, and acknowledge their students’ education as the pathway to developing independently responsible learners. Students will discover that they can be responsible for their education and see that embodying knowledge is where the real power lies.

After reading this book, you will discover understanding, learning, and knowing in a whole new way. You will realize, that by understanding how to learn, you really can create, do, or become anything you want, while discovering who you are!

This book turns the word Teach upside down and creates a whole new paradigm.

We are embarking on our homeschool journey (my youngest kids are currently in kindergarten and 3rd grade in a Catholic private school an we plan to start after this school year). I am currently immersing myself in all things homeschool - but focusing more on philosophy and MY mindset than curriculum for them. I’m confident that will sort itself out on the coming months.

Of all the books I’ve read, listened to, etc. I found this to be one of the most thought provoking.

I don’t want to go to in depth an spoil it. Just read the book!

Where was this when I was a child, how many tears could have been saved from having someone teach me this way. I’m glad to implement this with our children and have independently responsible learners!

Great book!

I love Mr. D’s message about creating independent, responsible learners. Our kids are capable and I believe Mr. D is onto something that will have a lasting effect. I especially enjoyed hearing him speak about goal setting and his easy to follow visual diagram to actually obtain those goals. There are so many helpful tips. Great work
