It started as meet cute but then male lead started to be manipulative, coercive, and abusive toward female lead. Narrator was great. She is worth listening to again

baby romance

this is a nice lil baby romance compared to the dark and vile stuff i usually read or listen to LOL it’s always good to take a break from that stuff.
i liked the virgin corruption. the dominant billionaire owner. the make over. the spicy scenes are pretty lovely. however, the narrator could do a better job of getting into it. compared to other narrators, this one is very very tame. plus i don’t know if this narrator is not actually from the south but the way she says mama is a tiny bit annoying and it is over said. kinda cringey. overall a good story that keeps you engaged enough to keep going. i understand that the main female character is supposed to be very naive given that she’s a virgin and all but i would’ve liked a bit more push back and brattyness. just a tad bit too naive and weak for my liking so i hope that that changes in the coming books. finished on 12/01/2023.

first book was good,... the rest were rough.

So the first book was AMAZING! And I was hooked! It is SO well written and has some very funny and surprising scenes too! HOWEVER the rest of the books fell so flat for me,... there was ZERO character development unless you call cheating and exploring polyamorous sexcapades with no connection some sort of developement,... Henry has no real emotion other than anger-and seriously he should be mad lol, what a disaster he's left in. There's zero insight into what he's thinking, so his character was very one dimensional which made the entire romance element dim,.. a lot. If you like emotional frustration and a train wreck of decision making, but you want super spicy scenes with no real love connection, read this series!

Loved every minute

The story is awesome, if I didn’t have other obligations, I would have finished it in one day. What a good listen. Can’t wait for pt 2!
