Alyssa has not had a vacation in five years; she hasn’t done anything different in five years. Her boss convinces her it’s high time she takes a vacation and even offers her advertising leaflets with suggestions on where she should go.

Unable to recruit anyone to accompany her, Alyssa decides to go on her own and enjoy some hiking by herself. A one-night stand with the foreign stranger who saved her life probably isn’t the smartest move in the world, but she had also been alone for five years. The temptation was stronger than her will to resist.

Great Listen

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Loved the book, great story line, but I didn't like the ending! Scott Wylder does a great job with this short story, but my feelings were hurt at the end... Narrator Juliana Solo does a great job with the characters and story.

Too short

This was a promising story until...End!
End?? Yes... it really was the end of this story. I felt a little unsatisfied. Too bad because this could be a great story if it was longer.

I would have loved to see if this couple could have made more of a go of things. Maybe in the future they’ll hook again.

Loved it well delivered, love the audio, change of characters voice in audio is amazing.
