i was looking so forward to the last book in this series. I love the writing as well as the narrators of all previous books. However, I am gritting my teeth trying to finish listening to this book because of the narrator. if I would have listened to the sample first I probably would have just left this series alone at book 8.

Great story awful narrator

It's jolting enough to change narrators mid-series, but this one clearly didn't know the story or listen to a single previous audio book. She didn't even consult with the author or anyone to confirm how people and places should be pronounced. The different accents were so cheesy and inappropriate that it made me hate the characters and even the story, especially the obnoxious baby voice. This book is short and jarringly disconnected from the rest. It was like amateur fanfic of the real story. I wish I hadn't bought this one, but it felt weird to own the whole rest of the series so I went for it. I'm a big fan of the author and series, but this version is a pass!

Can't stand the narration

Do not love change in narrator and mason relationship. The narrator voice was just too much
