The 5 Respect Principles offers a supernatural faith-based framework to help men reconnect with their true identity in the faith and heal from traumatic wounds, emotional or relational. Rooted in the unshakable foundation of agape love, this book guides men through five essential principles that restore connection with their God-given selves, as well as giving and receiving respect among other men. Ultimately, it sharpens their sense of honor and love and respect with our Creator, God the Father, in Jesus Christ our Lord.

I just finished The 5 Respect Principles by Emmitt Chang and really appreciated how honest the author is. He doesn’t hold back when talking about both his failures and successes throughout his journey not only as a military man, but as a Christian man navigating mental health and what it means to be a man of God. He uses his own life as a doorway to talk about many struggles men face today and gives practical principles that help map out our own path in life. I was able to relate to many of the obstacles he describes in the book, and it even helped me recognize a few I didn’t realize I still struggle with. The book touches on the reality that not every relationship is meant to last forever, and that learning how to close certain chapters in a healthy way can help us move forward without regret. Overall, this book challenged me to reflect on my own life and grow as a man, a leader, and a follower of God. It’s an honest and meaningful read that I believe many men today would benefit from.

A Message Many Men Need to Hear Today
