Raffael Lyon has written and great book and Deb Thomas does a really great job narrating it!!! In fact when my wife and i listened to it we were taking lots of notes and due to the quality, speed etc of the narration it required very little rewinding and/or pausing.

As parents of 3 boys my wife and i have had our share of "angry" moments, days, weeks......LOL....This book has some very solid information on how to reduce the stress between parents. It is full of information that everyone could use not just parents. For us in particular we really enjoyed how Mr. Lyon pointed out that a more calm environment from the parents helps raise a more confident and happy child.

We love the 5 to 1 rule in parenting.

This is a great book and we highly recommend it.

This was a fascinating and highly informative listen. As opposed to other similar works, I feel like these 7 steps allowed me to go deeper into introspection and work on myself, for example, by observing my own reactions and identifying triggering situations. This is a book about fostering our child's mental and emotional well-being through a variety of simple steps and achievable changes to implement, particularly through preventative rather than reactive methods. I would highly recommend a listen to all new and/or struggling parents.

As the parent of a toddler who can sometimes push my buttons, I was so grateful to come across this book. The strategies and techniques for leading a happier household without yelling have already made such a difference in my home.

One of the most impactful tips for me was the 5 to 1 ratio. The idea of having 5 positive interactions for every 1 negative interaction has already made a huge difference in my interactions with my child. By making a conscious effort to be more present and stay off my devices, I've already seen a positive change in my household.

The narrator did a fantastic job of performing the audiobook. Their voice was a joy to listen to, making it easy to stay engaged throughout the entire book.

I highly recommend this audiobook to any parent struggling with getting angry with their child and parenting a toddler. It is filled with so many helpful and practical tips that I've already started implementing and can't wait to see more positive results.

Extremely helpful tips and advice!
