Determined to make it on his own, Jack soon discovers another boy at the Academy who has an even darker fate awaiting him, and they band together and devise a daring plan to escape. But in a world where trust is fragile and the cost of innocence is high, their bid for freedom falls apart at the last second when Jack is accused of a crime he didn’t commit — or did he?
