The Adventures of Queen Anne Boleyn

I have taken the advice of my dear friend, the Lady Allison, in documenting my experiences. I do make occasional references to conversations and actions that I did not observe directly but which were related to me by others. I’ve included them because they are relevant.
When I was first acquainted with some of the portraits painted of me years after my ‘death’, I was appalled. Granted they were as poorly done as many others of that period, but still. Well, gone is the gable hood, now replaced by loose locks that seem to have their own mind. Hair falling in my face and brushing it away has become one of my trademarks. I have my best friend, Her Grace, the Duchess of Cornwall to thank for what she called ‘my makeover’. Regardless of makeovers, what will always be with me is what the Duchess calls my ‘Boleyn chin’.
Additionally, I am no longer afflicted with five or six layers of clothing (thank heavens)! You can usually spot me wearing a white, loose silk shirt tucked into skin-tight black leather pants. Topping the outfit off is a men’s morning coat (I love my pockets!).
I am happier than I’ve ever been in my life. Truly, I am the happiest. This world and time are perfectly suited to me, and I am to it. I have done things and have had experiences beyond my wildest imagination.
I am Anne Boleyn, Queen and Empress. I rule the United Kingdom and, oh, so much more. My subjects love me, and I return that love in every way I can. This is my story.
