It’s been over a year since the Glory Spar shook the Kingdom of Boolavogue. King Caelum has been doing his best to reign and pick up the pieces, and Lisa has been helping amongst her fellow monster slayers. Life is returning to normal, but an unsettling truth presses upon Lisa as monster spawnings rise.

People are mysteriously vanishing from nearby towns. Lisa ventures to discover the culprit, but fear begins to take its toll. Voices trail her down the halls. Nightmares morph with reality. Monsters roar where mere shadows remain. Foul magic is at play, the unseen relentlessly tormenting Lisa, and it won’t rest until her mind is drowning in insanity.

With the help of Gaius, Lisa goes on a quest to discover why she is being haunted by terrors, hoping to find a cure. What they discover is far worse than either could’ve ever imagined… and now, a curse is at play that could bring calamity to more than just her life.

Stakes have risen, and heartstrings will be pulled as Lisa’s adolescent years come to an end. The journey of the Agapéd Bearer takes a crashing turn as Dreyma’s Curse infects our grand hero and the magical life she so desperately loves.

The narration of this story is fantastic. The accents and character voices are wonderful. I have enjoyed every book of this series so far and this one has some really delightful moments as well as some heartbreaking ones. I can't wait for the next book: Embassy Saints. The only downside to this audiobook is that I can't see the author's incredible artwork on the pages.

I laughed, I cried. Will read again.

First of all dear author.... HOW DARE YOU. Second of all, This book will make you laugh and cry.... and cry.... and leave your significant other concerned about your well being. You should read/listen to it. I am constantly blown away by the creativity and emotional engagement in this series.

My only recommendation is that this book needs an additional editor. This series has the potential to be fantastic. But I was distracted by several first person descriptors that do not make sense.

That being said..... I need the next book. I need more of the artistry and I need healing.... and closure. But most of all, I need another Lisa Robbie adventure.

Funny, Bitter Sweet and Soul Destroying.

I don't know how it's possible for a heart to hold SO much love for all these characters and still survive it. The Agaped Series is magical and wonderful and heavily character driven to the point that they all feel like family. These book have the found family trope all throughout it, and I am totally here for it.

Dreyma's Curse is the fourth book in The Agaped Bearer Series and this one dives deeper into some darker elements that expose how true evil needs to be stopped. And in order to do so it takes great sacrifice.

I think that's why this one hurts so much. It's a compliment to the author that she can make you fall so deeply in love with her characters their heartache also latches onto you. You are going through it yet wouldn't have it any other way because you get to be on this magical adventure that captivates you.

The audiobook is fantastic as well. Emily Turtle is the perfect voice for Lisa and she encompassed the deep emotions so well. Not to mention the well done performance with all the creepy spectral vibes of the villain. And I couldnt ask for a better Giaus than Michael Joseph Murray. He also does an outstanding job. No matter how you read the book I believe you'll love it but the audiobook is definitely my favorite format.

Deep feelings and love for these characters!

Ooft. File this under emotionally damaging. Heartbreaking. Scary. Difficult. But somehow it also lands under beautiful. Joyful. Hopeful. Fun. I truly don't know any other book that has pulled off anything close to what this book and this series has done. And we're only half-way there. Lisa, Gaius, Cal, Tuff, Celine: all these characters live and breath. They're not neat and tidy. They are weighty, and their choices are heavy with consequences. We get so many consequences in this book and there are more to come. My heart is broken, but the journey was worth it, and I can't wait till book 5.

Note: I was very blessed to receive the audiobook in exchange for a review. From the first, I fell in love with Emily's narration. Her voice was so spot on I know I'll hear her as Lisa every time I read the books. She bought weight to the words that I wouldn't have gotten from reading them. 5/5. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic. All the way through.

This book has been by far the best in the series so far. All the emotions and plot twists left constantly on the edge of my seat, right to last page. I have recommended this series to everyone I know.

It felt like I was there in the story
