In the unforgiving wilderness of Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula, a group of oil workers stumbles upon something monstrous. When their warnings are dismissed as hysteria, crew members begin to vanish. Desperate for answers, a corporate representative is sent to cover up the chilling events—but the truth is far darker than anyone imagined.

Now, with their lives on the line, the survivors must confront a terrifying species that has lurked in the shadows for centuries. As they venture deeper into the icy forests, they’ll uncover not only the horrifying creatures, but a deadly conspiracy buried within the very corporation they trusted.

But the creatures aren’t just hunting them.

They’re protecting something far worse.

The Alaska Project is a pulse-pounding survival thriller where nature’s deadliest secrets refuse to stay hidden, and no one makes it out alive.

Good book wish it was longer. Really enjoyed it. Even though its virtual voice sounded very realistic.

I really wanted to love this story, but between the virtual voice mispronouncing words and names and the sudden ending that felt like a "if you want to know what happens, you gotta buy the next book. and the next one, and the next one..." ploy just to make more money that has invaded today's e-books, it left me wondering if it's worth reading anything else by either of these authors. If you can't complete a full story arc, with a satisfying ending, then don't bother putting it out there to be read, or listened to, it's not a complete story. All books in a series must have a satisfying ending on their own even though it's part of a series.

The AI voice did convey any kind of emotion and made the book bland. The story itself was great but the narrating made it really boring.

AI Voice is horrible...
