Growing a boppli can be a blessing, but it can also be a recipe for burnout.

Two years after being ordained as the new bishop of their community, Samuel and his wife Eve are still enjoying the freedom of being a newlywed couple. Their marriage began with some rocky roads, but now that they figured out how to manage it all, day-to-day chores and work seem comfortable. That is until they receive some life-changing news.

Eve soon finds a new challenge knocking at their door. This is by far the hardest thing she has ever had to endure. She never imagined going through it on her own. She often wondered how he could be so absent-minded. Could this be the end for them?

Samuel whilst trying his best to do everything expected of him, continues to fall short. He cannot understand Eve’s rollercoaster of emotions, nor does he know how to be everything she expects of him to be while the load he carries is weighing heavily on his shoulders.

The is a nice short story about relationships between a husband and wife. It was well done but quite predictable.
