Erik, the Phantom of the Opera and former Angel of music, has finally let the mask slip and Christine to see him for who he really is. He still sees himself as a freak, a monster and certainly not someone worthy of love, but does Christine see things the way he does? As the Viscount Raoul De' Chagny becomes more and more enamoured with Christine emotions boil over and Christine finds herself in Erik's clutches far beneath the Opera house.
Both furious and obsessed by the idea of one another each tries to hold onto the fragile threads of their sanity as they both try and make the other see what was staring them in the face the whole time. For love sees only the soul.
