I very much enjoyed this book. The author is very descriptive and sets the scenes and characters very well. I enjoyed the pace of the narration and the narrators tone. DI Barton took us on his path to solving a compelling mystery which was enhanced by being set in a interesting and beautiful place. Looking forward to the next installment.

I listened well into chapter 5 and detected not a trace of a plot. The narrator is adequate, but hasn't much to work with. if I hadn't bought this book on sale, I'd return it in a heartbeat.

Tedious
