From the author of The Backrooms, this is the highly anticipated sequel.

The rooms shift, and something is watching.

After a mysterious incident at a lab, five scientists are pulled into an alternate dimension of dead hallways, fake geometry, and endless silence. Trapped in a place where time warps and creatures lurk in the darkness, the group must walk forward through madness against all odds.

There is no way out – only the will to keep going.

Love this book start to about chapter 21. After that it gets quite sped up, unsure how to explain it better than that. My favorite parts were how each character has their own chapter specifying their thoughts as they explore the dangerous and sometimes confusing or intriguing, difficult situations that this alternate reality brings to life.

Spoilers:

chapter 22: unspecified:

during this chapter around 9:30 into it when Carson enters the silver handled door. Right after it jumps to Thomas in a battle of a lifetime. Thomas lay dead, later on Rachel awakens to Carson next to her in the hospital bed? Meanwhile earlier chapters tell us that yes Thomas is already dead now? Story line does not add up…

Follows the typical tale of most backroom lore in a new fascinating depiction of colleagues lost in this alternate world.
