Enroute, her coach encounters bandits and she meets their dangerous leader, where she vows for his head. However, on arrival to Wild Flats she discovers that Sherriff Clayton has no intention of wedding her. Trapped in Wild Flats, Gloriana must search for escape.

Tristan Taylor is a law abiding citizen most of the time. But when he’s not, he runs a band of infamous outlaws. When he meets Gloriana, attraction is instant and he resists the desire to whisk her away. However when he later learns that Gloriana has become embroiled in the sheriff’s illegal activities, Tristan has no choice but to keep a weather eye on her —and convince her marry him before she finds another.

As Gloriana grows bolder, her activities place Tristan and his gang in danger, and Jed Clayton develops a devious plan to destroy the infamous outlaws and get rid of Gloriana in the process.
