Susan and her family are new to Florida. After falling for Josh, a Florida local, the pair quickly falls in love. But soon, things turn awry when students end up dead in the Banyan preserve. After witnessing the horror firsthand, they plea with the cops to investigate it. Instead, they shut down the preserve, keeping everyone away. The cops are quick to suggest it’s a Florida panther halting any investigation into it and sending a team of local trappers in instead. Still, the pair isn’t quite so sure about that conclusion when only the bones are eaten from the bodies, so the couple sets out to try and stop whatever is behind these brutal attacks.

Huge cliff hanger can't wait for the sequel!

I loved this book from start to finish. I look forward to reading the sequel. I loved the narrator also great choice.
