A CHILLING NORFOLK BROADS CRIME THRILLER!

A haunted crypt, a bullied boy, and an artist’s will: a benevolent gesture or a satanic curse?

When the body of a local artist is found mutilated inside a five-pointed star, DCI Tanner’s attention turns to the disciples of a Satanic cult. But when the man's body is discovered to be the cult’s leader, Tanner's interest is soon drawn to his will, and the five beneficiaries who’ve been named in it.

Set within the mysterious beauty of the Norfolk Broads, this fast-paced British detective series is a dark cozy Norfolk murder mystery with a slice of humour and a touch of romance, one that will have you guessing until the very end, when the last shocking twist is finally revealed.

The Bastwick Testament is a totally addictive gripping crime thriller, the twelth in a chilling series of serial killer books, ones which will rapidly convert followers of L J Ross, Faith Martin, Joy Ellis, Damien Boyd, J M Dalgliesh, and Elly Griffiths into David Blake devotees.

Like other audio loyalists I also missed Jonathan Keeble, however, do not let that prevent you from listening to this book. The narrator does an excellent job. I would argue just as good. More importantly, the story is fantastic and the twist at the end is OMG.

Worth the wait!

Please Re-record this book with Jonathan Keeble - he is the voice of DI Tanner!

Switching to a new narrator mid-series just ruined the story.

I found myself laughing out loud..!!
The narrator for this 13th novel in the series was priceless.. loved it.

Overall it was as awesome as the others. However, although the narrator did a good job, I absolutely missed the voice of Jonathan Keeble. He is the reason I discovered the series.

The absence of Jonathan Keeble

I was so disappointed in how bad this one was compared to the other 12. The storyline has now become so formulaic as to be boring, the endless silly banter between Tanner and Gilbert and Tanner and his wife bordering on circus silly. Tanner as a character has become slightly incredulous with his decisions, Forrester worse than ever. And now Tanner has suddenly become a supercilious a-hole to his subordinates. Lastly this narrator was awful with Tanner’s voice and the emotions behind it. What happened to David Blake?
