this is a great book for action and mystery, the way he described everything in such great detail makes everything, seem real in your imagination

If you are a Rangers Apprentice fan this is a must

burned thru this in 2 days on a road trip. few pauses because it is such a fun prequel. I think narrator is perfect for this story. his is the voice I hear when I read these now.

This is a great series.

I hope the stories keep coming. I really like the continuity with the other books.
