One of the best in the genre

I used to work in YA movie marketing, and I had to learn the genre inside and out. It’s been a few years, but I picked this up because it looked interesting, and it rocked my world. Blair delivers a truly feminist protagonist that manages to be flawed without falling into the YA tropes of insecurity and self-doubt.

Why am I even reviewing this book?! I don’t want it to be over. I loved spending time in Vesper’s world and there are so many people there I want to know better. Please keep these coming!

solid story

this book is pretty predictable but isn't that slow..keeps good pace. like how it ends. cool magic.

Fantastic!

The narrator does a great job capturing the voices of the characters! The plot is wonderfully twisty and the romance is swoonworthy without being cloying.

i’m dying for a sequel!

COULDN’T STOP LISTENING! SOOO GOOD! I got the audible version because I’m driving around so much and I didn’t want to leave the car! I loved the story and the narration. BRING ON THE SEQUEL!!!!
