Excellent narration

Holly and Adam grew up across the street from each other until Adam's father fled the country to escape being arrested. Adam and his mother moved away and made a new life. Adam grew up, got an education, and worked his way up to billionaire status. Holly became a journalist but she's not content in her career at present.

This year, Holly finds out that Adam has purchased his family home - across the street from her parents. And he's there now, for Christmas, although he has no plans to celebrate. Until Holly is drafted by her mom's book club to be the newest neighbor to try to make him see why decorating for the holidays matters to the neighborhood.

I would not classify this as love at first sight since they knew each other most of their lives, even if they haven't seen one another for 15 years, but love definitely comes on fast, with the help of a winter storm and a power outage.

Cute story. Just as good, maybe even better, the second time around.

I love this story and the characters
as they go back to their childhood homes to experience Christmas. The narrators were perfect to bring the story to life.
