Truly a harlequin romance.

If you like your romances all neat and tidy and a little rushed you will like this one. Not too bad, not much drama and the story moves along at a fast pace instead of dragging it out; its a decent story. I selected this one because of the narrator. Saskia is one of my fav female narrators that I've listened to in many categories. But the author is new to me. I see this isn't a new series and I might go back to book one since its an audible escape selection...this one wasn't at the time I wrote this review. We have our usual arrogant alpha male bachelor chasing the demure female but this one was smart and sassy. Harriet was mostly decisive and strong and I liked that. I also like my romances spicer at times but this one had its moments. Sort of like pg 13 vs. pg. 18+. You get pg 13 here!! Looks like there's another book brewing for the third bachelor who aspires to remain single and free. I am looking forward to listening to the woman that brings him down...lol 😉
