A cold, unfeeling dragon shifter CEO + a mysterious woman on the run who perks up his dragon's interest = action, adventure, heart-wrenching romance, and an HEA guaranteed to satisfy you!

Matthew Lennox’s entire life was driven by one thing: Lennox Corporation. Now that he was taking over as CEO, nothing was going to stop him from making the family company an even bigger success. But, when a mysterious woman arrives in town and captures his and his dragon’s attention, he realizes that she’s the one: his mate. And he’d do anything to make her his.

Catherine Archer is running away from her past and those trying to hurt her. She knows she needs to keep her head down, and falling for a dragon shifter isn't exactly keeping a low profile. She needs to resist him, for his and her sake, but can she ignore her heart?

I love Alicia’s books! Sophie did such a fantastic job. She even snuck in the heroines dialect slip ups! I can’t wait for the next book to come to audible!!

Such a great book! Can’t wait for the next one!!

This paranormal romance is enjoyable but I think it is lacking a little zing. The story seemed a little too short and underdeveloped. I have previously listened to four books in the later Blackstone Ranger series, and I like those better, partly because of the narrator, Tara Langella. Sophie Daniels gives a solid performance in this book, especially with the heroine's voice, but all of the male characters with the same Colorado accent all sound too similar.

Pretty good

Ok. Nothing really engaging. Bland. Mediocre. Ending went slightly juvenile. Story and narration unimpressive and I Love paranormal and shifter stories and read/listen to hundreds of books a year.

Just ok
