EV Wykoff disappeared in 2001, leaving behind his controversial debut novel Yawning and the Details and a ton of conspiracy theories of his vanishing. Sixteen years later, this mystery brings together two fateful strangers in New York City. Nin Kaya, a Brighton Beach local is taking a shot at success in the literary hustle of Manhattan. Jerome Williams, an underachieving bar-back is trying to leave behind a tumultuous past while living a sheltered artist’s life. She possesses the itch of striving in a city full of ambition, while he possesses the despair of being an absolute nobody in a city of strivers. Set over the landscape of the world-famous Greenwich Village, these two opposites connect with one another to reveal the clues of the missing EV Wykoff.

The Blank Page and the Details is a novel of revelation, discovering the sentiment that it’s never too late to find change and meaning in this confusing life.
