In love and war, some oaths are meant to be broken....

Riding into the arena under the furling blazon of the blue falcon, Sir Conan de Corbney accepts a token from the young beauty, Lady Chandra, sparking a romance foretold long ago.

That is, unless Conan’s mother can help it.

Colluding with her son’s rival, Sir Tedric, Lady Udele secretly arranges a more lucrative marriage for her son and weds him to Edwina—Chandra’s older sister—while Sir Tedric claims the fiery Chandra for himself.

Thus begins the star-crossed lovers’ quest, amidst treachery and betrayal, for the path back to each other’s arms. When a knight is pledged twice, once for loyalty and once for love, which oath will prove stronger?

From private chambers to the distant bloodstained shores of the Crusades under King Richard’s reign, THE BLUE FALCON is a timeless tale of adventure, treachery, and above all, an unforgettable love story.

I love books written during medieval times. I’m a long time Robyn Carr fan. It was evidence did her research of the times. The narrator did a fabulous job with the different characters and accents. Well done!

True to the times and an intriguing story

The whole book. Wasted my time and money. I skipped the whole book. I listen to about 6 chapters thinking it would get better. But sadly disappointed.

Did not like the narrator trying to sound like a man.

I can’t believe this book was written by Robyn Carr or narrated by Therese Plummer. Their combination of audiobook has been among my favorites until this. As for narration, it was very difficult to discern who was speaking. Voice was far too celebratory about everything spoken & with an American accent set in England with English born characters. As to the story, I’m about 1/2 way through & struggling to continue. In multiple previous books RC’s characters have always mattered to me quite quickly because of rich character development. The only characters who stand out in this book are quite irritating & distasteful. Zero balance. Very disappointing.

Unbelievable
