I am trying really hard to listen, but the narration is weird and creepy. The cadence is odd and like one hugely, enormously long run on sentence...
So I was able to finish the book. The narration never really got any better and the background noise was a bit distracting, but I really did like the story. I gave the story an additional star.

That Voice :-(

I made it through this audiobook through sheer force of will. The narrator whispers his way through the entire book as if he's recording in a public library or trying not to wake the baby. VERY irritating and distracting! I hoped the storyline would progress to the point where I would no longer be bothered by the vocal delivery, but it never even came close.

Was this recorded in a public library?

the reader was so bad this might be a decent book but not as an audible with this dull dull dull narration. I finally gave up at chapter 2 and removed it

the worst narration

This may very well be a brilliantly written book but I'll never know. I made just through the prologue and can't tolerate the narrator's tone, inflection (lack thereof), and pace any longer.
