When you take into account that these stories were written for young children, they're perfectly fine, and the narrators do a good job. When you're my age though, fantasy stories where things happen "just because" are a little harder to swallow. Still, the stories aren't bad by any means. Surprisingly, one story unfolds as if it were written by a child version of Junji Ito; except with, you know, less horrific imagery and more happy endings. Overall, a good collection of stories; just make sure you keep in mind who they were written for.

For younger audiences, it's perfectly fine.
