Y’all know I love Stephanie Plum. She’s my girl and Ranger is my man.. but I also love The Fox and O’Hare series! Nick Fox was an international thief who got caught by FBI agent Kate O’Hare. Instead of prison, Fox works with Kate to bring down other criminals. Who better to catch a thief than a thief?

In this book we are dealing with much more than someone stealing jewels from the Vatican... we are dealing with a secret organization called the Brotherhood. There is 30 billion dollars of lost gold at stake. Can Fox and O’Hare find the missing treasure map pieces before the Brotherhood does?

Ok listen, I’ll be honest, this story is kind of out there but I still loved it. It was such a fun addition to the series. I love Nick and Kate and their dynamic so much. I think they work so well together and their banter is perfection! I also really love all the side characters. Everyone that helps with their elaborate plans are all so much fun.

If you enjoy heist books with quirky characters, then pick this series up!

Fun and entertaining

Another reviewer said there wasn’t any romantic banter or chemistry between Nicholas Fox and Kate O’Hare in this book. I almost didn’t read this volume for that reason. I am glad I disregarded the review and read the book anyway.
Nicholas Fox and Kate O’Hare did have several romantic exchanges and shared in romantic banter several times throughout this book. I think there was more foul language in this volume than the previous books in this series. However, I might be mistaken since it has been awhile since I read the book before this one in the series.
I laughed out loud several times while reading this book. And Franz? So funny!

Entertaining

Love the link to historical facts. Also enjoyed the mix of characters and wide open to more installments.

Janet Evonovich never disappoints! the characters. in this story are fun and interesting. Fran was a great surprise! I can't wait to start her next book!

A fantastic story which was so graphically presented that I could not put it down!! It held my interest for hours and even until the end, I could not stop listening!! Just adventure after challenge after more insane adventure!! Excellent and happy endings ensue!!
