Zeddy, a 6 year old boy in the year 2099, is exposed to dark matter after his father Zane visits Zamira through a vortex. Dark matter takes many forms, and the first manifestation comes as a zutterfly, similar to Earth's butterfly. He plays a game called Zloat with this zutterfly named Zmally. Zamira, a dark matter planet in the constellation Libra is also referred to as the World of Z as all words there start with the letter Z. In the year 2099, The International Government controls the entire earth and all human movement making an adventure difficult to find Zane after he disappears without a trace. Book 11 takes us into the future of the Count of Monte Cristo series leaving readers waiting for book 12 to better understand the connection to The Sultan of Monte Cristo (book 2) and That Girl Started Her Own Country (book 6).
