I wish there were another version

The narrator does excellent line readings, but his women are high-pitched and smarmy, and the Scots accent is mechanical and lacking music.

Read a plot synopsis before buying

Ivanhoe this was not. The reader is authentic in his Scottish brogue and between that and the Scottish dialogue parts were not understandable. I did not think this a worthwhile investment of my time.
