A cold-blooded killer strikes at the hottest moment: the new head of a sauna-stove company is murdered. . . in the sauna. Who has turned up the temperature and burned him to death? The evidence points in the direction of Anni Korpinen - top salesperson and the victim's potential successor at Steam Devil. And as if hitting middle age, being in a marriage that has lost its purpose, and struggling with work weren't enough, Anni realises that she must be quicker than both the police and the murderer to uncover who is behind it all - before it's too late. . .

I am not sure if the book was do bad or was it made so bad by the reader. It started like Tuomainen's previous books, however what follows was like some other author's writing. The book was disjointed, with lengthy and boring descriptions, it lacked the typical humour of the books I enjoyed in the past. The performer was badly imitating male voices, all old men sounded the same, some women had terrible squeaky voices.

Disappointing

Liked it very much. Great mix of philosophy and mystery. The yarn is spun around human existential quandaries with a nice dose of Finland

Saunas etc
