The present translation seems to be as close to Chaucer's Middle English as can be reasonably done. Because Chaucer's English is only a little distant from contemporary educated English, the translator has sometimes been able to preserve rhymes and other word play.

The narrator of this recording has also done a commendable job.

A good translation

Beautifully done. I loved this Audiobook. John Hanks does a masterful job of narration. I was so sad when I came to the end of it.

Excellent.

if human, they need to learn rhythm and pacing. it's absolutely terrible. this narrator sounds like he is reading a tax manual.

i refuse to believe this is a human narration
