Q.'s quest leads him on a hilarious, ribald chase that's a cross between a story by Lenny Bruce and Dashiell Hammett. Before it's done we've encountered Pulitzer Prize-winning Philip Roth, a sex-starved suburban housewife, a mysterious Hollywood diary, Britney Spears, an ancient secret society, and two gifted cats whose trail of urine and hairballs leads Q. and his spunky undergraduate assistant to finally unravel the riddle of which cat killed Lilian Jackson Braun.

The "The Cat Who.." series of books are a good clean read. Why can't this type of writing just be respected and not be mocked? For some reason I thought this book would be a similar type - not a total opposite! I don't believe it even deserves one star. Very disappointed I wasted my money on this trash.

I disliked this book and the volgarness. The Cat Who books are so wonderful this is an insult. I couldn't get past Chapter two.

Foul language and uninterested reading make this book a real disappointment. The author and the reader are not worth your time.
