The battle between good and evil has a new name….

Harmon Waite is the son of the most powerful angel in the universe.

He will undergo 12 trials by fire in an unrivaled hero's journey.

If he is to survive, Harmon must discover his power to fight evil on the immense stage of the Celestial Wars.

Live or die—the soul-blessed worlds will never be the same.

Angels and fallen angels, devils and demons, good and bad gods, dwarves and elves, misunderstood dragons, a super-powered supporting cast of memorable characters, and one flawed but lovable superhero—these action-packed adventures take listeners on a roller coaster ride down dark supernatural highways.

Author's Note: The big question for existing fans of The Celestial Wars has to be, why revise a series already averaging four and a half stars on Amazon, Audible, and Goodreads?

The truth is, my narrator and I fell in love with these stories. After three years and six novels, we are that much better at our respective crafts, so we put in the extra effort (paragraph by paragraph) to ensure that The Celestial Wars withstands the test of time.

Hope you enjoy! ~ John Campbell & Dan Johnson

I loved this series and listened to it multiple times. The action is amazing. The suspense is wonderful and the narrator does a fantastic job.

But stood out to me most is how this is fantasy, but it came to reality one focal point of the book

I’d call this a clever mix of just plain fun action romp, Texan dry humor, supernatural/fantasy/modern day mythos, and a touch of slow burn romance between two characters you really REALLY like. As a character-focused reader, I was delighted with this cast. It starts small with Harmon and Molly (who is a western woman who takes no crap and is a heroine after my own heart) and grows to include dwarves, demons, angels, angel-offspring who I quickly loved, and some spunky Texans thrown in the mix. The story is clever and the mythos very interesting. The narrator does a spectacular job - perfect gravely drawl.
I highly recommend if these elements tickle your fancy.

Great fun, solid funny characters, clever concept

Certainly an interesting take on a small niche genre. Overall it was enough to keep me listening but probably not something I will listen to more than once. When Mr. Cambell releases the next three books I might come back but it isn't something I am going to be watching for. Mr. Johnson's narration probably fits the noir-esque world/detective centric story but so much monotone does drone.

UNIQUE STORY
