very nice

got the bundle of first three books. made me go out and get the next 6 waiting for the rest to be converted into audible. Great story line interesting characters. has you rooting for the secondary characters as much as the main.

Immature and simplistic

The writing was not great. The story line was vaguely interesting but at times it sounded like teenagers in a basement playing Dungeons and Dragons. Inconsistencies abound. Character dialog was terrible.

Not bad, decent story line.

I liked the idea behind the story. At times, it was tough as the mc kept making threats to persuade people but never followed up. There needs to be something behind the threats, or they won't work.

Slow with little action.

The main character is supposed to be a formidable warrior but the fight scenes were very few, weakly written and boring. Poor use of a character.

Too much repetition

Using the same few phrases over and over and over made it difficult to listen.
