Charley Huxley had two mysteries in his life that have never been solved. The first one was about his sister, Linda, who died when they were both children. The only thing his parents would reveal was that she succumbed to a horrific accident. Charley and Linda had been close siblings, and he desperately needed to find the answers.

Charley’s second mystery concerned the true love of his life. Back in 1969, a young hip girl stepped out of the Meeman-Shelby Forest in Memphis, Tennessee, and into his heart. She called herself Moon Beam. After a long, wonderful conversation, she faded back into the forest, just as mysteriously as she had arrived. A few years later, Charley would meet up with her again, now known as Cynthia. They dated for three years before she suddenly left him without warning or explanation. He wondered if there could be a connection between his sister’s demise and Cynthia’s sudden departure.

Charley, along with his adult daughter, discovers a way to immerse themselves in the past by using food, media, and other artifacts to unlock the mysteries and experience the 1950s through the 1990s and beyond.
