I thought I would be annoyed by the narrator but I got used to her and came to not be distracted. I’m so glad because the story was outstanding.

Loved the story

I loved this story and the characters. The narrator spoke the male voice way too lazily for my liking. I would definitely read more by this author but not listen to the audio version.

A Charm-ing Tale!

This was very touching and unique! I loved the characters of this story and I liked watching their journey. The ships crew and their adventures, as well as their mission of freedom... very beautiful.

I did want a bit more of the romance. And there was no epilogue which made me sad. But on to the next one!

The first Susan Wiggs book I didn't like

I've read and enjoyed so many Susan Wiggs books, and this is the first one I didn't like, in fact I REALLY didn't like it More like an unpleasant naked chested man with woman story, kind of like the cover. I was listening at the gym without headphones, and some parts were turn it off now obnoxious, multi page sex descriptions. Just don't like it.
