Surprisingly moving story

Read this because the heroine is the sister of the Hardigan Brother series by the same author. Now I want to read the two other books in this series. Loved these two characters and their journeys of finally accepting who they are and how they fit but don't fit in their respective worlds that brings them together. Narration was a bit tough for me in the beginning. I had to start listening a couple of times until the story grabbed me enough that I paid no attention to the narration. Male voices are weak and the tone sounds computer generated. When I thought that might be on purpose because she was trying to portray the scientific, purely logical tone of the heroine, I was able to get into the story more.

Oh! I am enjoying this series so much! I started this in audio at the worst time in my life and it has kept me from breaking down. It is Hudson's turn and oh my he is in for it. He meets Felicia Hartigan, an ant researcher, a nerd from a large and loud family and she has a goal, she wants Tyler Jacobson, her childhood friend. Hudson sets himself up as her "coach" to help her get her man but what happens when all the moves and grooves he teaches Felicia work for him and her and they fall in love...oh my...So, so, good!

Great series so far.

Can't wait to read book 3. Avery Flynn is my new favorite guilty pleasure author!

I should have listened to a sample 1st. Sometimes a career in a story, takes a backseat. I'm not an ant fan.

the secret painter

Loved this! The storyline is fun, flirty, and super enjoyable! The narrator did great. I would recommend listening to the first book in the series before this one.
