The individual books gradually increase in quality as you continue.
"The Portal, the Plumber, and the Princesses": pretty basic plot. A bit boring, honestly. The only twist that makes it interesting is the "curse" that makes people disobey any command, although the plot holes in that are staggering. A brigand jumps out of the pushes and demands you hand over your valuables - all you have to do is order "fight me, you coward!" and watch them run away. The weaknesses are never addressed. On its own I'd rate this book a low three star.
"Truck Drivin’ Hero": a bit better. Going off the title, my expectations were low. Oh, Earth is under occupation and this is a crucial transport mission? Well, that makes it more interesting. The Sheriff Zorflox character is stupid, ridiculous... but ok, he's funny. He single-handedly keeps the book from being dull. Using the Carrington Event as a plot point is a really nice touch! I suspect the effects in the course of this novel aren't fully scientific, but oh well.
The plot seems to just disappear towards the end, that important mission just... not being a part of the story anymore? Not sure what happened there. And it's frustrating how the characters raise the point about how illogical it is for the oppressors to be so easily foiled... but that's NEVER explained.
Young, Dumb, and full of Charisma: the best story in the collection.
A little basic, but it's much better plot-wise than most harem novels!
The protagonist is a himbo, but there are plot reasons behind it.
The women of the harem each have distinct personalities and motivations
The bard's riffs, based on well-known songs like "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" or "A Whole New World," are entertaining
I learned about this book from a story by Chase Danger in the "Dragons & Damsels" collection, which is a bonus chapter that could go into the middle of this book - that story was highly entertaining.
Overall, it was better than expected. Not amazing, but pretty good! I'll check out other stories by the same author.
That being said, I was thinking of this as a self-contained one-and-done story. However, the ending seems to be lining up a full series of stories... likely stories that would be much less creative and more stereotypical in the fantasy setting. Years later, there appear to have been no sequels. I think that's for the best. I suspect any sequel would be a big step down in quality. Just be aware that in some aspects this story may feel a little unfinished because of that.

Nonstop action from the start. Plenty of world building and progression. Plenty of Spivey parts too.
If you like adventure and hotties this is the series for you.

This is not a series omnibus.
This is 3 different fun and spicy stories in one book.
I loved all three.
This is not Tolstoy, Tolkien or even Brandon Sanderson. Please don't rate these kind of books like you're the literature columnist for the New York Times writing about classic English Lit.
I'm giving this book 8 out of 5 stars.
3-in-1 fun spicy stories.
