Vicky's perfect life has just imploded. Her husband Tom has cheated—worse, with her oldest friend Claire. But Vicky isn't the type to fall apart. She's the type to stay smiling. Watching. Waiting.

At her local GP surgery, where she works alongside the charming practice manager Jake, Vicky becomes increasingly frustrated with their colleague, Bronagh. And when the Book Club begins to take Miranda under its wing—a nosy neighbour with too much interest in Vicky's affairs—things start to unravel.

Gifts appear at the surgery. Crank calls. Social media attacks. A shadow outside the house. It seems Vicky has a stalker.

But the real danger is much, much closer.

And they will stop at nothing to get what they want.
