Humorist, novelist, Dov Treiman, creates in The Coffee Hour a parody of his own memoir, "Why Is The Vivaldi Leaking." Taking it from the point of view of alternate universes as he did in "The Bedroom Slippers," Treiman takes both actual incidents from his life and entirely fictitious ones and weaves together adventure, history, time spent with famous characters, and utter fantasy. The book has its dark sides, as lives do, but uses them as background for the gay romp that really has filled out the days of Treiman's life. Spoiler alert: Treiman's encounter with Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's security detail is mostly accurately told. Alternate History Biographical Fiction Genre Fiction Science Fiction Fiction
